Terms
Updated 16 October 2026.
The software
myLinux and myLinux Launcher are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. That licence, not these terms, says what you may do with the programs. The systems the launcher downloads (Omarchy, Arch Linux, Kali Linux, Debian, Alpine Linux) come under their own projects' licences, and Windows, which you download from Microsoft yourself, under Microsoft's.
The account
- The account on mylinux.app is free. It keeps your machine profiles, your saved keys and your Claude files so you can use them on any machine. Keep your password and API keys to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with them.
- Don't use the site or its API to attack it or other people, or to store things that are not yours to store.
- The service may change or end. Keep your own copy of anything that matters (a profile is a plain
mylinux.iniyou can download). - Accounts that abuse the service may be closed.
No warranty
The site and the software come as they are, without any warranty, to the extent the law allows. Virtual machines can lose data like any computer: keep backups.
